Shopify app

Urgency your customers can actually trust.

ScarsityPro shows real stock, real sales and real deadlines on your product pages. And when there is nothing true to say, it says nothing at all.

The difference

Most urgency apps just make the number up.

Shoppers have learned to ignore a counter that says the same thing on every product, every day. Worse, invented scarcity is a claim you cannot back if someone asks.

The usual way

A random number in a red box

“Only 3 left!” on a product with 400 in the warehouse. “12 sold today” on a product that has never sold. The badge shows up even when the item is out of stock.

ScarsityPro

Your own data, or silence

Stock counts come from your Shopify inventory. Sales counts come from your orders. Out of stock means no stock badge. No sales in the window means no sold counter. The widget removes itself rather than lie.

Seven widgets

Pick what fits the product.

Every widget is a message you write, a number ScarsityPro works out, and rules for who sees it.

📦

Live Viewers

Social proof where no exact figure exists. Generated, and labelled as generated in the editor.

Source: generated, drifts realistically
🛒

Cart Activity

How many people have it in their cart. Also generated, also labelled — your call whether to use it.

Source: generated, stable per product per day
Control

Say it to the right people, at the right moment.

31 targeting filters

Tags, collections, vendor, product type, price, stock level, recent sales, day of week, hour, country, device, referrer. Combine them with AND or OR inside a group, and stack groups for precise rules.

Scheduling

Give any widget a start and an end. A Black Friday message can be built in October and simply switch itself on and off.

A/B testing that admits uncertainty

Run two messages at once. Each visitor is assigned one variant and keeps seeing it. Results run through a significance test, and no winner is declared until each variant has enough views to mean something.

Analytics without the mystery

Views, clicks and add-to-cart clicks per widget and per variant. A view counts when the widget is at least half on screen. Add-to-cart clicks measure intent, and we say so rather than calling them conversions.

Questions

The things people ask first.

Will it slow my store down?

One small script and one request per product page. No external libraries, no font downloads, no third-party calls. The widget is inserted after your page has rendered, so it never blocks anything, and if the request fails the page is left exactly as it was.

Does it work with my theme?

It installs as a theme app embed, so there are no theme files to edit and nothing breaks when you update or switch theme. Choose one of four common positions, or give it a CSS selector if your theme is unusual.

Are the numbers real?

Stock, sales, countdowns and the shipping bar are. Live Viewers and Cart Activity are generated, because no exact figure for those exists — the editor labels them as generated so you always know which is which. You choose what to use.

Do you collect my customers' data?

No. We store no names, emails, addresses, IP addresses or order details. The app sets no cookies and does no cross-site tracking. Performance data is daily counters per widget, with nothing identifying attached. Full detail is in the privacy policy.

What happens if I uninstall?

Your access token is deleted immediately. Your widget configuration is kept for 48 hours so a reinstall restores your setup, and is then erased completely along with everything else we hold for your store.

Will sales widgets show my past orders?

No. Sales counting starts the day you install the app; there is no backfill of earlier orders. Until a product has sold something, its sales widgets stay hidden rather than showing a zero.
